§ 33.21. QUALIFICATIONS AND APPOINTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEERS.

  • (A) The Director shall make sure that each volunteer personnel meets the following qualifications before he or she is sworn in as a member:
    (1) Be at least 18 years of age.
    (2) Not be convicted of a felony.
    (3) Complete and have on file an application form.
    (4) Possess a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
    (5) Complete any assigned training or education.
    (B) Upon satisfaction of the above requirements, with the approval of the Director of the Emergency Management Agency, and following the oath as described in I.C. 10-4-1-20(b) the applicant is officially a member of the Boone County Emergency Management Agency.
